Finora
Finora had grown quickly, and its product had grown with it: feature by feature, without a clear structure underneath. I worked with the team to rebuild the core experience around one simple question customers kept asking — where does my money stand right now?

The challenge
New customers were asked for a lot of information before they could see any value, and the account overview had become a collection of widgets competing for attention. Payments worked, but the flow changed depending on where it was started, which made people unsure whether a payment had actually gone through.
The team needed a design direction they could deliver incrementally, without pausing development or retraining existing customers.
The approach
-
01
Listening first
I reviewed support conversations with the customer team and ran interviews with new and long-standing customers to understand where confidence broke down.
-
02
One clear overview
The account screen was restructured around balance, what is coming up and what has just happened — with everything else one deliberate step away.
-
03
A single payment pattern
Every payment now follows the same three steps with a clear review and confirmation, wherever it is started from.
-
04
Built to be delivered
Designs were broken into releasable pieces and supported by a shared component library, with accessibility considered from the first sketch.
The outcome
The team moved forward with a single, coherent structure for the product and a component library they could keep extending. Onboarding, the account overview and payments were handed over in stages, each ready to build and test with customers.
